Snakes & Ladders
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Thursday, 7th of November 2019
On a surprisingly sunny November morning, Kenny and Rebecca headed to Camden to help Mr and Mrs H.
The couple are in the process of decluttering their home and garden however are unable to remove heavier items they wish to get rid of. Thankfully our GoodGymmers were on hand.
Kenny and Rebecca started in the garden, removing rubbish (including some very snake like ropes), rehoming soil and placing old furniture out front for the council to collect.
Then it was indoors to take down items from high up cupboards for Mrs H to sort and clear. Rebecca was too short to reach, even with the ladder's height, so Kenny climbed up and passed items down.
With the GoodGymmers having more time than Mrs H expected they headed back outside to clear the side path. Rebecca swept up the leaves (slightly vengefully after slipping multiple times on route to the mission) whilst Kenny followed with weedkiller.
Then it was just a final task of helping Mrs H access and print some document on her computer before our GoodGymmers were all done, bidding farewell to a very happy Mr and Mrs H.
