Smilin’ in the Rain
3 GoodGymers made their way 5.5km to help the Derbyshire Refugee Solidarity in Derby.
- Tuesday, 11th of April 2023
- Led by Gwyn Williams
Good Morning! Yesterday, Pete, Tracey and I got together outside the hotel, and we were joined by Fit as a Fiddle refugees M and S. All five of us had a gentle run to the riverside path after a little chat. We then had an "Indian Run" along the path towards the Silk Mill, a Broadway Melody of footsteps. We split into Tracey's walking group and a running group. It's Ramadan, so running is hard when you're fasting. Both groups had a great time and there were smiles all round: Make 'em Laugh applied to everyone. To every one of you, You Are My Lucky Star.
