Smash 'n' Grab
13 GoodGymers made their way 4.0km to help their local community in Colchester.

As usual we all met in Leisure World ready for our group run. We congratulated Ella on her fantastic run at Oxford Half. Susie and Chris had also done the Royal Parks Half at the weekend, but since neither were present, we withheld our applause until next week.
After the usual briefing and warm up we made our way through the dark dark park to find out what we'd be doing at FirstSite, and we had a couple of smashing tasks; one out front and one in the workshop.
David, Fay, Helen and Bob went inside for the workshop smashing, and the rest stayed outside. Both teams had use of a sledge hammer, and by the end of the task, Eddie, the site manager of Firstsite was quite scared of us. Although he was also really pleased as we'd done at least a days worth of work in 30 minutes.
Another fun task, and I'm sure some of our shoulders will be sore today!
