Sliding in safety surfacing, one rainy, dark evening
5 GoodGymers made their way 5km to help the Heeley Development Trust in Sheffield.

On our 49th Heeley People's Park Group Session safety surfacing was our task, more commonly known as wood chipping. We wheelbarrowed and trugged fresh woodchip in front of the slide, and turned over and mixed it in with the existing woodchip, to build up the area and increase safety for sliding kids.
We were so speedy - you can barely make us out on one of cameraman Ash's photos, travelling/forking faster than the sound of woodchip - we finished the task a little early.
Please join us next month for more 2022 woodchip adventures at our 50th Heeley People's Park (HPP) GG Group Run. Sadly following our 50th, there will be a bit of a break visiting our regular HPP. Hopefully we will be back for some more group run sessions at HPP summer 2023 :)
