Welcome to our new runners - click the links below to support them and give em a cheer!
The Ox didn't stand a chance!
Following a 'squat brief', we set off from our home of the Showroom Cinema after welcoming the above new runners to our ever increasing clan with Bash as our trusty back marker back after foot surgery - glad to have you back Bash and take it steady on that foot!
On arrival at the Durham Ox we were greeted by SENSATIONAL SUSTRANS SIMON who was waiting with tools kindly provided by FANTASTIC FRAN of REGATHER fame to allow us to brush, dig, cut and trim the area of the NATIONAL CYCLE NETWORK which had become overgrown and unsightly.
KIM - The Ivy Killer Longborn
Special props to Kim who as you can see in the photos managed to in one massive pull, get a huge ammount of overgrown Ivy down which was completely covering and obscuring the view of one of the signs of the NCN. Great work Longborn!
After 45mins of really going at it and having a huge impact on the area we ran to the Iconic PARK HILL flats of Sheffield - Europe's largest listed building for some circular based fitness that included:
Squats
Planks
Swimmers
Burpees
Box jumps
On returning to the Showroom for post run refreshment we stretched off and heard of the upcoming races and missions coming up in the near future, including a mission this weekend, so if you are Mission Verified and available please do sign up to Take 2 to help mr B in the garden and check out all the races coming up!
Until next week,
Happy Running :)
Tom

Hi Tom Many thanks to you and the crew for the clean-up last night - you did a fantastic job. Hope to be able to work with you and the Good Gym crew again in the future. Many thanks also to Fran and Regather for supplying us with the tools of the trade and to Craig my fellow Volunteer Ranger for helping out.
You're welcome Simon! Look forward to working with you again soon! Thanks to you, Craig and Fran for helping to make it happen!
