Signed, sealed, delivered, I'm ... lost
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Thursday, 23rd of April 2020
I decided to go on two wheels for this mission - it's rare that I bike in London (I was bottom of the class in cycling proficiency 😅), but with fewer people on the roads than normal, it was actually a lot of fun! Did you know there are rainbows made of balloons outside a bunch of hospitals now?? I didn't! Anyway, first stop was the pharmacy to pick up Ms F's prescription, then around the corner to Ms F's home to drop it off. Part 2 was to take Ms F's gas card to the post office to top it up. If you've tried to find a post office that's actually open when it says it is, you'll know it's one of the more fiendish bosses in the good deeds game these days 😂 after losing my bearings by confusing the Postal Museum for a regular post office, I eventually found the Kings Cross branch, which was open, and topped up the gas card successfully. I dropped off the gas card, Ms F's son thanked me and Goodgym enthusiastically, and I cycled home in time to eat an unholy amount of potato wedges while watching the National Theatre livestream. All's well that ends well!
