Shed Start
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Tuesday, 16th of February 2021
Laura and I met just outside Mr P's flat, in the City. We'd been warned there was a big job, and more than we'd be able to do in one go but were told that we could help advise on next steps as well.
We were greeted by Mr P who was very pleased to see us, and we loaded up with boxes to take down to the lock up shed a couple of floors down. Upon seeing the shed we realised that it was in much need of a reorganisation as there were many boxes haphazardly strewn meaning the small shed didn't have much available space for more of the boxes of items he wanted to relocate there.
We spent a good half an hour taking items out, and putting them back in again, in a more snug, organised manner. It resulted in a lot more space and we were able to fill some of that with more boxes that had he filled already with items from the flat.
Back at his flat there was more shunting and shifting to be done to make the requisite space. We discussed a few ideas, making some progress but ultimately Mr P was keen to mull over the ideas before taking any further action.
He was most pleased with the progress and could foresee how the rest would be addressed, so everyone was suitably pleased at the end.
