The Scarcroft Primary Christmas Fair is always a bit epic, and there's a LOT of stuff to move about to get it ready.
Luckily this year we didn't have to move all the PE kit, just a lot of tables and random items from different floors.
Shall I take you to the cellar? Teacher Sarah
We had to take lots of stuff out of the cellar and match it up with a list on the wall so we knew whether it needed to go to the upper or lower floor. Some of us picked the uneven steps for extra exercise whilst others enjoyed using the lift.
There were loads of folding tables to put out, following a specific table plan, boxes of books, boxes of wine, bags of books, bags of drinks, boxes of chocolate, bags of sweets and if you were lucky, bags of cuddly toys.
Sarah tried tempting us to move the grade II listed toilet but we decided it was too high risk so left that where it was.
The final task was to empty Sarah's car of more Fair-y stuff and to take the perfect school-esque group pic.
Job done.
