Sausage forage.
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Thursday, 1st of October 2020
Mr A was in an apologetic mood when I arrived - he confessed he'd nodded off and so hadn't written his list. Not a problem I said and we sat in his kitchen whilst he dictated what he wanted to me and discussed the state of the world (well mostly Camden) at the same time.
Fortunately Sainsbury's came good with everything on this week's list, except Heck sausages ("they're the best"). Past experience from previous shops had taught me that a quick walk to the nearby Waitrose would provide that particular treasure...except not this week.
So back into Sainsburys to find the next best alternative and hope Mr A wouldn't be too disappointed that he wouldn't be getting his first choice sausages. Fortunately he was fine with the final selection of Cumberlands and thanked me for making the effort to venture a bit further in search of the clearly highly prized (but lesser spotted) Hecks.
