Same, same, but different...
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Thursday, 11th of June 2020
Back to Mrs M's this morning but instead of doing her shopping as per previous weeks, it was for a visit to her local Boots in Kings Cross for a prescription pick up. The pharmacist having found the prescription online was extra helpful in "borrowing" one item from the St Pancras branch to ensure Mrs M got everything she needed in this one visit.
A ring of the familiar buzzer and it was up to see Mrs M and pass on her medicine - we had a good catch up about her week and she mentioned that another volunteer was coming to do her shopping this week - behind her was her trusty trolley ready and waiting.
As we were chatting, Lenka appeared and after both of us saying goodbye to Mrs M, it was great to have the chance to exchange stories about our various experiences to date! At the bottom of the hill, I was able to point her in the direction of Tesco (hopefully quiet again this week), and we wished each other well.
