S-card-y Cats

For a second week running, Mel and I joined forces to take on a mission, counting our blessings that this week we had been allocated a nice warm indoor task :-)

Having both stiffened up somewhat from a morning of running, we opted for a run from our meet up point (which involved Mel having to trawl round coffee bars in Central Bristol as the GoodGym group runners moved from one to another trying to find one that could accommodate us all for some well earned lunch) to my car and drive the rest of the way over to Mrs H's.

As we had both been running and doing good in different forms already, we naturally felt quite comfortable with this choice!

Arriving at Mrs H's, it was evident that there was a bit of a cat theme going on and having been welcomed in out of the cold by one of Mrs H's daughters, we discovered that there were no less than 4 furry felines ruling the roost.

After a quick chat with Mrs H we discovered a pair of feet dangling from the loft and were beckoned hither by her other daughter who was busy sorting boxes of card making kits, amongst other treasures, to take down in order that these could be sorted before donating them to charity.

We opted initially for a mini human chain in order to move items from the loft to the lounge, all the while keeping our eyes peeled for a lorry (hopefully a toy one) that the family were particularly keen to find.

As the items and boxes became heavier and space in the loft started to appear, we modified our approach as I moved up into the loft space to hand down the heavier items to Mel at the bottom of the ladder.

We had to call time on the mission once the lounge was full of items to sort and we had run out of space and with, alas, no sign of the lorry and with a quick look at some photos of the cats we were off on our way again.
