We split into two groups to take on the maze.
Jade and Sarah took the task of planting bluebells and worked their way round the maze.
Mel, Shreena, Liz and I took the perplexing task of gathering strawberry plant runners and deciding whether or not they were good enough to replant. The chosen runners were then replanted under a fantastic rhino sculpture at the back of the maze. Mel did an excellent job of demonstrating which roots will last out until next year, hopefully we were good enough students for there to be strawberries to pick soon, although working out old and new roots is harder than it sounds...

Love the report title Martha!
Thanks for the report Martha and thanks Mel for guiding us and answering my constant questions of "is this a new one" and "this is an old one isn't it" :)
