What. A. Night! I absolutely love this task, I think it's the purest and best kind of GOOD we do. In some of the coldest weather Camden has experienced for a while we ran 1km off to the American International Church to help the wonderful homeless charity C4WS.
Each year we partner with this fantastic charity to make beds for the homeless each week from January to March. Upon our arrival we got to work making 18 beds over two rooms - mattress, sheet, pillow, quilt and love! During our bed making we were joined by some staff and volunteers from C4WS, they reaffirmed to us the massive impact we were making - enabling people to have somewhere to sleep that night! After we placed chocolates on the guests pillows we took a group photo and headed out.
Stand by your beds!
We then went to Russell Square for a fitness session - where conditioning and 800m hard running was the name of the game.
Upon finishing early, we stretched and headed to the pub. Thanks all - amazing evening!
Sign up for next week here when we'll be helping Castlehaven and C4WS.
