Recline and relax with the sofa shifters!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Tuesday, 29th of September 2020
Mrs J is about to come out of hospital. She likes to sit by her window - but she couldn't do that as her recliner chair was on the wrong side of her living room. Her neighbour over the road comes to look after her - and spends nights in her house caring for her. She couldn't quite fathom out what needed shifting around to get the chair in the right place.
Enter Darryl from GG Greenwich and Josh from GG Southwark. After some debate on what to do, we managed to shift a sofa around and get the recliner into place. What's more, we managed to get it plugged in so Mrs J can actually use it, because she hadn't been using it before. Mrs J's neighbour was so happy, she even called her family over to take a look. Job done.
Unfortunately, we forgot to take the usual selfie so we'll have to be men of mystery, but here's the recliner in place. Armchair, window, TV, what's not to like?
