The weather finally decided to cheer up, and just in time for our second group run back after you-know-what! π
Our job for the day was to help set up Jubilee Primary School's new library. So after a quick chat about our fave childhood books (shoutout to Biff, Chip and Rodger Red Hat), we hit the road, cutting across Brockwell Park to add a cheeky km to our run.
After getting our breath back, and cooling down ahead of our impending mask-wearing session π₯΅, Juan showed us to the new library room. It was a proper mess with boxes and shelves and furniture everywhere.
We had a few jobs:
πSort the books into piles of the correct colours (rainbow categorized, obvs)
π Rearrange the furniture
π Load the books onto the shelves
With two sessions booked in for this, we smashed half the room with some excellent teamwork, movement around the room and a solid chunk of GoodGym efficiency.
Afterwards, we went to the playground for a game of Head, Shoulders, Knees & NOSE (squat then if you're the last person to touch your nose when it's called, you do 5 press ups) π¬
Shout out to Ben for making it (just about π) to his first ever group run - so glad to have you a long. And big up everyone else whether you've been about 5 weeks or 5 years - what a team!
