Ready. Set. Alkinet
17 GoodGymers made their way 3.2km to help the Luxmore Garden in Lewisham.

Our weekly good deeding took us up the hill to Luxmore Garden this week. With my legs not feeling up to the challenge post-50miles it was down to Oli to lead the group whilst I kept everyone together at the rear.
There were a couple of tasks at Luxmore Gardens:
- tackle the overhanging branches and overgrown tree - once done it revealed that the tree has grown through a fence post. Nature wins!
- remove the green alkinet that is beginning to take over the plants
- sweep the paths
The difference we made in 45minutes was fantastic. The green waste pile went from nothing to nearly as tall as us!
One of the perks of going to Luxmore Garden is that it's mostly downhill on the way back. After a quick cool down it was time to head for pizza and pasta!
Next week we are heading to Lewisham Unity to help in the garden and to dig up a tree.
