Raking Progress
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.

Here's what Mrs M of SW8 had to say about the mission:
It was very very good. I couldn't fault the runners at all, they're very diligent and very nice!
I was hoping to please 18th century art fans with the report title, but it might be a bit too niche... Anyway, much raking was done in Mrs M's lovely garden, which has become a struggle to maintain due to her arthritis. Although not before a light bulb change, which was quick and easy start to the task. We then got on with the job clearing up lots of weeds (as these had been making the most of the wet weather and taking over the lawn), sweeping up leaves and cutting back hedges growing in from neighbouring gardens. Fortunately, I had the ideal mission partner in Chris, who is something of a gardening pro (has an allotment - pretty advanced stuff!) and full of energy despite cross country racing exertions in the mud the previous day. We got a before photo, but you'll have to imagine the after photo by subtracting on the contents of the green bags... Great to meet you Chris, and hope to cross gardening paths again some time.
