Rake me home
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

Today I visited Mr E to help tidy up some leaves in his garden. His current health means that he's unable to do this himself.
After introducing myself to Mr E and his carer, I got started.
There were an awful lot of leaves to be collected. Although I wasn't 100 percent sure what was the best to approach this, I figured that the best course of action would be to simply start scooping like an artisan gelato seller in summer, and work out if I needed a plan later on.
About 5 bags of leaves in, I discovered a broom, which helped make things a little tidier (although unfortunately the broom discovered the afterlife fairly shortly afterwards as it pretty much disintegrated in my hands 😅) This wasn't the only discovery; a plate, a water feature, and a collection of meerkat ornaments all came into view as I worked. Hopefully at least one of these discoveries will be useful to Mr E 😊
With approximately 8 bags full of leaves, I decided to finish up by raking the remaining leaves into a corner of the garden with a newly discovered rake.
I couldn't make my goodbyes to Mr E, as he appeared to be asleep and I didn't want to wake him. Hopefully he'll like what's been done on the garden so far, and will be able to sit out and enjoy the nicer weather 😊
