Pulling weeds
2 GoodGymers made their way 8.1km to help the Fountains Care Home in Solihull.

Last night, Chris and Rob headed off to a new task at Fountains care home, to do some gardening for the residents.
This did mean meeting a new starting point in Shirley ready for the long run down to the centre, along the way we were also scouting out for a new potential start location, so the run isn't as far next time we go.
Once we arrived the at the home, we were greeted by Michelle, who had some water ready and biscuits ready for us. Once we had caught our breaths back, Michelle showed us to the garden area where they needed us to do some weeding and plant some new colourful plants.
Chris and I took a planter each and set to work pulling all the weeds out we could also find, tidying up a little bit of the patio area for the residents. After 45 minutes of work, we pull all the tools away back in the shed and put the garden waste in the compost bin, we said our goodbyes and headed on our way back to tonight's new base.
Next week we will be back going for a run along the canal and back at Fountains care home the following week, hope to see you at one of these sessions.
