Promoting Goodgym at the Maidenhead Ageing Well Expo!

Shelia and Jess met in the Nicholson Centre to promote GoodGym as part of the Aging Well Expo organised by the Maidenhead United Community Trust. We had our flag and flyers out next to the Maidenhead United Community Trust who we receive a lot of our social visit referrals from and it was nice to put some names to faces! There were also stalls from the Library, Leisure Focus, People to Places, Mobility Aids and the Berks & Bucks FA! We spoke to a number of people who were interested in what we do, (once we explained our gym was not a building but the great outdoors), in that we support many local charities and community projects and older people in the Maidenhead & Windsor areas. We even had time for some yummy milkshakes! We hope we have drummed up some more volunteers to join our great group and do even more for our community.
