Privet investigators
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Saturday, 4th of January 2020
Frances knew, even before she checked the door numbers, that this was the place. she'd been around this ole neighbourhood long enough to recognise a hedge that needed trimming, and she also knew that she had to be the one to do it. she took one last swig from the water bottle and pushed onwards to Mr P's. Karen was no newcomer to this business either. She'd seen a fair few gardens in her time. They made short work of the hedge, it had no defence against their insistent snipping, and they also swept and bagged the leaves into the bargain. Replacing some batteries was more of a problem, they just couldn't make that old doorbell sing. But Mr P checked the job done on the hedge and was pleased they'd given it a proper going over, and with that they were off into the gathering dusk. Case closed.
