Alex did her first GoodGym mission tonight, Along with Laura and Lucy, We were at Pret in Clapham, Collecting food for charity.
The pick up on Monday was not half four but five, One by one we came and were let inside.
Packing up our bags, rucksacks, suitcase, We don’t want this food to go to waste, Bright Morning Star Homeless Outreach, A good deed each,
Pret it go, pret it go, Egg and cress, and ham and cheese, Pret it go, pret it go, But leave the toasties please, Chicken Caesar baguettes and granola pots, Pastries and filled wraps, bags filled with lots and lots.
Two of us were cycling, in tandem off we rode, And one person was taking a different transport mode, By bus and bike, we headed East, Bags full up with donated feast, Down Lambeth Walk we take it all, to the hall,
Pret it go, pret it go, Mozzarella and tomato, Pret it go, pret it go, Fancy wrap with pesto, In the fridge, nice food to eat, The mission’s done, another good deed has been complete.
Thank you. And congrats on your first good deed Alex!
