Post Xmas (tree) Pick-me-ups
3 GoodGymers made their way 4.3km to help their local community in Islington.

Ernestas, John and Simon met for a catch-up on a beautiful sunny winter morning in Highbury Fields, and set about rescuing abandoned Xmas trees from the Islington borough.
Ernestas had some top suggestions for Xmas tree drop locations (usually residential streets, and next to communal rubbish bins near Arsenal stadium), so we followed his lead. We came across a huge pile of at least 20 trees dropped outside a local coffee shop, but decided we might be biting off more than we could chew! However, we covered a much larger radius from Highbury Fields, and picked up at least 5 trees each between us (including some massive ones!).
Wonderful fun! One of our favourite annual tasks!
