Weekend = poo patrol & litter pick
This weekends excursion included a detour through 'Bancoft Forest', resulting in two full bins in total. What does it say about the area if bottles of Budweiser have been replaced with cans of Stella & Fosters, i wonder...
It also seem to puzzle people that a wheelie bin can be used for more than just rubbish - the 'Tin in the Bin' project works very well across a large part of the borough, but on the drive there is more rubbish dumped in the clearly marked wheelie than tins. But 6 full tins were rescued from the rubbish! They are now added to the collection for Dan to distribute.
