Unusually, Mr G’s door was closed when I arrived today, so I had to summon him by ringing his doorbell. He was surprised to see me as he’d been expecting me an hour later, and he’d been resting in bed after suffering from a bad cold for the last few days. Keeping his distance, he handed over the shopping bags and label set for his desired items.

A fairly standard shopping list this week. While the items that are sometimes difficult to spot were located quite quickly, it took me some time to find the chicken pie. Turned out it has completely revised packaging and a “new improved” recipe which will hopefully still be to Mr G’s taste.

Back to his flat and we had time for a chat about his medical woes and, more positively, his dream of opening a gallery to display his impressive artwork including his punk prints collection.

Hopefully, Mr G gets well soon. His artwork is so cool - I'd love to seem him joining the BEAT next year and displaying his art!
