Picking up where we left of...
4 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Redbridge.

After what feels like forever, today it was time to get back involved in our old stomping ground of Wanstead.
The monthly litter pick has been re-instated, albeit with careful distancing and cleaning of equipment in place. Due to some minor miscommunication / someone misreading the start location, the team was a bit scattered over the area, with Linda at the meeting point and Dharmesh & Liz on the Green. It probably didn't help that i was running late myself! The two on the green got a little side-tracked by Marian and her team looking after a (relatively recently) newly started strip of guerilla gardening, while Linda & myself went all over Christ Church Green picking up all sorts of mainly small bits of litter - a tent peg served a dual purpose to dig out bottle caps.
The crew was reunited just in time for a group picture with the rest of the litter pickers. A stroll over to the local library for a Parkini (team) selfie and off we went. A stroll back to the Green meant we bumped into Marian again who said she'll be in touch with a couple of Saturday tasks that would need some GG muscle - looking forward to that already!
