Picking up the Pieces
2 GoodGymers made their way 2.0km to help their local community in Coventry.

This week, we had a change to our usual group run timing to be the heat.
Robert and Lilian met at our usual start location and took a leisurely run down to the canal basin. We picked two bags of rubbish and focused on the area around the basin. It was lovely to see the signets growing up. We took a little detour to give the parents some space whilst picking litter around the seating areas adjacent to the canal. We then took a walk back to the basin with the bags and spotted a more unusual piece of litter; -a jigsaw puzzle. We then took a gentle walk back through the city centre, pleased that towpath was now looking a lot tidier for everyone to enjoy .
Next week, we'll be heading over to Spencer Park for our rounders social. Details and sign up here.... https://www.goodgym.org/happenings/coventry-social-game-of-rounders
