Picking litter off Turnham Green - into the biggest bin bag we've ever seen
8 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Hounslow.

On this rather chilly late April evening, several of us usual Hounslow suspects got together to litterpick around Turnham Green. We also welcomed Tom from Ealing, whom I'd met the previous evening on another litterpick - he joined GG during lockdown and was glad to help somewhere local to him. It was good having you Tom!
The Green was in fact fairly clean, but we still found plenty of litter, including a protein bar and a mostly uneaten bar of chocolate. Michelle (who bravely came along despite feeling under the weather) had provided us with the biggest bin bag we've ever seen (she could probably have fit into it). We did our best to fill it up as much as possible!
It felt good to do something useful in our local area, though we can't help wishing for warmer weather soon and we look forward to the reopening of the Old Pack Horse!
