Pharm-iliar territory...
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Friday, 5th of June 2020
I remember the first pickup I did from this Boots in The Brunswick Centre back in early April when all the rules felt new and unusual - queueing outside along the wall, strict distancing at all times, face-masks, one out/one in on the door, perspex shields at the counter.
It struck me just how familiar (and not unusual) this all was when I did today's pick up, albeit thankfully it was very quiet in the pharmacy today. As ever, the helpful pharmacist took the details whilst I waited in the queue, and when I got to the counter it was all prepared.
As I pedalled over to Mr M's house to drop off, I realised how familiar the surroundings were as I'd done a few similar prescription drops off around these streets over the past weeks without ever realising how they all interconnected. Mr M was very grateful to receive his medication which hopefully will cover him for the next month.

Good work Nick! It's always nice to connect up bits of London on the mental map ...
