Perfectly Pruned Privet
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.
- Sunday, 11th of August 2019
Sarah and I met on an unexpectedly sunny afternoon for her first ever mission (give her a cheer!), helping Mr and Mrs C, who are no longer able to tend to their garden due to ill health.
The main focus of our task was cutting back a rather overgrown privet hedge. Lots of standing on tiptoes and reaching at awkward angles later, it looked a lot neater. One we had cleared all our cuttings, we spent a little time picking litter before heading off home.
