Pennywort vs Volunteers II
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Richmond.

This time we burrowed our way through the Pennywort on the River Mole near Walton.
This was no mean feat, with much more thick weed than on the River Wey. We were not blind to this fact, but using our paddles, sheers, saws and a fair amount of determination we smashed our way through and re-opened the channel. With some expert work from Jane, including filming Chris stuck in the weeds...this should begin to make a difference to a waterway that was quickly becoming clogged. As Jane wrote on Twitter.... "The Rive Mole, Had no hole, Only a Pennywort blockade. So here we come with our cavalcade and Penny was no more".
