Peas Sir, I Want Some More
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hounslow.

What happens when you have time off work? You get your days all confused! Which is what happened to me. I was sure it was a Monday which meant I was doing my GoodGym mission tomorrow, on Tuesday. In actual fact, it was a Tuesday, and the mission was supposed to be in a few hours... I rang Mrs S on Wednesday afternoon, and she was pleasantly surprised, as she had been expecting someone (me) yesterday!! I felt terrible, and couldn’t apologise enough. Mrs S didn’t mind, she was just glad someone was going to get her shopping.
I went to the Co-op up the road, getting soaking wet in the process (love the British spring time). Luckily I managed to get the milk, beans, butter, coffee, bread and sandwich meat, and the last tin of garden peas. Sadly Mrs S wanted two, but the Co-op man said that was the lot. One is better than none though, I suppose.
The final thing to locate were digestives, but there was an empty box where the McVities should have been. I didn’t want to take the biscuit, but here I was harassing the Co-op worker man again! Luckily, he came back with a big box filled with packets of biscuits, and I popped two into my basket and thanked him on behalf of Mrs S!
Shopping complete, and I dropped it off for Mrs S. Wetter late than never, eh?

Well done for getting it sorted Lucy!
Wetter late than ever, we've all done this Lucy and sounds like you looked after Mrs S very well.
