Paws to collect litter on our daily walk
3 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Derby.
- Sunday, 12th of September 2021
- Led by Rachel Carthy
Tracey and Gwyn joined myself for Scarsdale Vets Woofs and Walkies charity dog walk today.
We travelled along the national cycle route making a Bolt for Alvaston Park and were grateful to Who Let the Dogs Out so we could meet some of the owners and their four legged friends.
Using our super sniffer senses we tracked down any litter to clear the path for walkers, runners and cyclists to have a more pleasant experience. We managed to fill 4 bin bags with mostly bottles, cans and food packaging along with the odd disposable face mask and tissues or wipes.
A paw-ductive morning spent litter picking before it was Homeward Bound.
