It was a rainy evening on Monday but that doesn't stop us unless it's an outdoor painting task then the rain does stop us. Tonight wasn't an outdoor painting task though so onwards we went to the PNK Garden!
The big task for the evening was to lay paving stones to create a path through the garden. Over the past year, we've brought these paving stones from a kind volunteers house to the garden and now it was finally time to lay them.
A team of 3 got on with the paving slab task whilst the others had a choice of either clearing leaves that have fallen all over the garden and the others cutting back the brambles.
After just over 30min of effort, it was time for the last paving slab to be laid and for us to be on our way back to Glass Mill.
Well done for tackling the longer run and a task that was a good workout. Next week, we are heading to Seniors to put the Christmas decs up. There's the option to run back to Glass Mill or head to a social at the Blythe Hill Tavern near the task.
