Another change of scenery for junior parkruns for me today combining a long run and volunteering going to Kidlington. Park Hill Recreation Ground Junior Parkrun has been going for over a year welcoming roughly 30 juniors a week. Today I helped a little with setup wheeling their equipment cart around for the array of cones and signs to turn their verdant park into a course and then handed out 27 finish tokens for the runners that crossed the finish. Interesting conversations, fast times and community fun were had and I really enjoyed the volunteer tourism visit!
