Pairs and Stairs...
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Friday, 26th of June 2020
Two medicines to be picked up for Mrs D and thankfully the Boots at Tottenham Court Road has re-opened (being just across the road from Mrs D's) and was very quiet. The pharmacist confirmed there were two items in similar bags to be collected, but wasn't sure if Mrs D needed to take one or both, so had to have a quick chat with the surgery to try and find out before releasing.
At Mrs D's it was the choice of lift or stairs...(five flights later I was wondering over my decision), put the bags on Mrs D's mat and had a somewhat slightly breathless conversation (she fortunately knew exactly which medicines to take) through her door.
As I left I noticed a couple of blue plaques celebrating two famous surgeons/physicians who had lived nearby over largely the same period of the 19th Century - pretty sure there must have been a few interesting conversations on those particular stairs over the years.
