Painting the fence red
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Thursday, 24th of June 2021
Mrs B welcomed me to her beautiful garden and explained that she loves tending to her plants and finds it very therapeutic to be out in her garden. Unfortunately her shoulder is quite painful and so she wanted some help giving her front fence a new coat of paint. She showed me two colours of paint, brown or red, and asked which I thought would be best. We decided the red was a bit more cheerful and that it would go well with her garden borders. I set to work painting, with company from Mrs B while she potted up some new plants. The fence was a bit longer than I thought but I managed to get it done, and both Mrs B and I were happy with the final result! Now fingers crossed it doesn't rain tonight...
