What a better way to end a Monday with a relaxing GoodGym task painting the walls of the Salvation Army in Nunhead.
It was an even special day as it was Lucy first GoodGym mission ever! 🎉🙌 She's new in town...like literally moved down last week, but heard about GoodGym from a friend and thought why not try it out. We were expecting Ella, but hopefully she did not get lost. 🏃♀️
In the end, it was just Sam and Lucy 👨🎨👩🎨 with the help of the task owner, Polis, who had already been busy painting the walls in the hall since 17:30. Yet, he was happy to have any help as the walls needed to turn from mustard yellow to a white with a splash of grey 🎨
Sam and Lucy took turns climbing the ladder and painting a section whilst the other "held the ladder" and the paint. The hour and a half whizzed by, but in true project management style Lucy ensured we finished our first coat of paint with time to spare. Enough time to get a 📸 in! 😎😆
There is two spaces for Tuesday's task. Sign up if you have a free evening!
