A NE wind (is that one that sounds like Jo?) was a bit of a novelty this morning which made the outward leg into a headwind and then a tailwind on the way back. Once we'd turned around the halfway cone it felt like there was no wind... why does that happen?!
Today was a first time at parkrun for Aoife and a first 5k for a while from Judy, with pacing assistance from Jen. Tracey was back after a bout of illness too. Sinéad was on marshalling and entertainment duty at the zebra crossing.
Tony was our first GG runner home (as expected!)
We all celebrated our 5k completion with the best coffee on the seafront (in my opinion ;)) and caught up on the latest news, which includes Rachel doing her 200th good deed next week!
Great work by everyone, results can be seen here.
