P-P-P-Pick up some litter
5 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Windsor and Maidenhead.

5 GoodGymers met to litter-pick in the Larchfield area. Everyone arrived under their own steam - Rach, Jez and Georgeta ran, Alain, accompanied by his children Sebastian and Chloe, scooted and Sheila cycled to the task. We were joined by 2 local residents, Vicky and Mark, who had seen a post on the residents’ Facebook group and came to help. Sally kindly opened up the Community Centre so that we could use the facilities. Armed with litter pickers, bags and head torches, there was no time to waste and we set off in pairs around the park and the surrounding roads. An hour later, we reconvened with 6 bulging bags of rubbish. In the course of their wanderings, Sheila and Georgeta had come across a cosy den in the shrubbery in the park, complete with a sofa and table and seats. Sally identified the table and seats as the ones that had disappeared from outside the Community Centre some time ago and was grateful that they had been found and will arrange for them to be restored to their proper place and this time secured in place! We left the park a bit tidier than when we arrived and hope that it was obvious where we had bin.
