Timing it perfectly with the heavens opening this afternoon, Alex, Sarah and I met with the South Bristol Plogging group for their regular weekend plogging session. Kitted out with pickers, bags and gloves, we jogged to the underpass to start gathering litter (and cunningly sheltering from the rain at the same time).

We caught up with each other and got to know some of the other runners who had joined for the afternoon as we gathered as much recycling and litter from the area as possible (and even met a lovely lady who litter-picks around Bristol every day!).

Half an hour later, much soggier and weighed down with our bags, we gathered back together to see the results of our pickings ready for Bristol Waste to collect. We then all ran off our separate ways for the rest of our Saturday!
