Orange you glad to see me? 🍊
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

Mrs M seemed particularly chatty today. Her list was a little longer than usual as she’s trying to stock up ahead of winter, and just in case coronavirus makes a surging return that plunges us into another iteration of lockdown. We chatted a little about her phone line playing up, and her prescription - Mrs M had tried to contact Boots several times to see if it was ready but couldn’t get through, so even though I wasn’t due to do this until Friday I said I’d stop by when I headed up to Tesco.
Unfortunately Boots hadn’t got all the items for Mrs M’s prescription, but the pharmacist assured me it would be ready by Friday so I’ll collect it then. Next stop was the supermarket to pick up her shopping. It seemed to take me a while to find everything today, but we got there in the end! Mrs M was happy to hear I’d ticked everything off her list and that I’d be back on Friday to get her prescription sorted. As I was ready to head back to work, she handed me an orange as a thank you snack - it was lovely & fresh, almost like a little pocket of summer… yum!
