A cold Sunday morning shift brought in 550ish people of all ages to get shots of all types. There were first and second doses but the boosters ruled with the occational flu shot. Some walk-ins were entertained depending on the size of the queue but many were sent back, asked to return on the next walk-in clinic on 27th November.

As luck would have it, I was one of those 550 as I was eligible for a booster shot and made the most of my 15 minute break by getting the jab and having a cup of tea while sitting it out.

The shift was busy, busy, busy. I started on the trusty pamphlet station with the famous last words of "Who takes these anymore?" Two hours later, I had handed out more pamphlets than I could count! After enjoying a short stint outside in the cold, I was back to wiping chairs for the rest of the shift. Tired feet but satisfied soul :)
