On the Sofa, In the Library, With the...
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Friday, 2nd of October 2020
Today Hannah and I went to help move a sofa for the lovely Ms P.
When we arrived Ms P let us know that we didn't have to move the sofa outside but into a small library on her floor (No stairs YAY!)
She had already had someone come help dismantle the sofa so it was just a case of moving the pieces out of the flat. It was nice and light and we were able to take it all out without much effort.
Ms P let us know that when we help it means we are like her children and wanted to feed us. We politely declined but was a lovely gesture.
After 30mins we were all done and said our goodbyes.
This was also my 100th Good Deed!
