On a (brioche) roll!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Wednesday, 13th of October 2021
Today it seemed that everyone wanted a piece of Mrs M at the same time - just as I arrived, her phone rang and a neighbour had also stopped by for a chat. After handling her call, Mrs M came back to the door to check through her list then sent me on my way. Tesco yielded most of the goods, except for broccoli and brioche rolls - Sainsbury’s came to my rescue here! And back I went to Mrs M with everything ticked off her list. We had a quick chat before I left… Mrs M still has no drinking water, but she tells me that someone will be coming to fix it soon (at last!) I can’t wait - carrying 12 litres of water every week is putting a lot of strain on her shopping trolley; I’ve been fearing it will give up on me one day!!
