Oh, what a scythe!

🎶 Early September, 2020... 🎶
(that is the extent of my ability to change the words to that song)
It was another Wednesday at Northern Slopes and it was beautifully sunny for us. We met Julia and split up to do the usual tasks of lopping, scything and litter picking. Matt got to work with lopping and improving the lines of sight. Laura tried out scything for the first time, and Sarah and Chris also got back on the scything, with Chris trying the Super Bramble Blade and making great headway through a bramble patch.
We got some helping hands of local youngsters who wanted to get involved, so I was litter picking alongside them and we filled two big bags for Bristol Waste to pick up. Maybe we have some future GoodGymers on our hands!
