Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree, how excited we are to see you.

Who’d have thought distributing Christmas trees would have been so much fun.
Foregoing the Saturday morning lay in 4 GoodGymers braved the cold (Conroy fresh from Parkrun) to help the lovely people of Lewisham collect their beautiful Kings Christmas tree.
While laughter, chatter & Christmas songs filling the air, It wasn’t long before a steady flow of customers started rocking up to collect their pre ordered tree. It seems it was clear that it’s very important decision when it comes to picking the correct tree. With all the of unwrapping & re wrapping of trees I simply couldn’t resist the temptation to be all wrapped up myself. (A very special tree of course).
We’d seen many cars & vans transport trees throughout the day but it was pretty amazing to see a man along with a small child strap a 5ft tree to his bicycle to take back to Brockley. Everyone had an opinion on how to get this tree on the bike but the guy was clearly an expert, it didn’t take him long before he was sorted and on his way.
Soon enough all the trees had been collected and it was time for the fun & games to end. We packed up, swept up & wished each other a very merry Christmas and made our way homes to get warm again.
