1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

Today's shopping mission for Mrs M turned into an all-encompassing task; first things first, Mrs M had misplaced her mobile phone, so shortly after arriving on her doorstep she asked me to call it then she could find it in her flat. After being reunited with her phone and returning to the doorway, she asked me whether I could go to Boots to collect her prescription as well as get her food shop from Tesco. So, off I went with trolley in tow.
The prescription was ready and waiting for me, so took no time at all to collect. I then managed to pick up everything except cheese spread from Tesco (a quick detour to Sainsbury's saw to that! 🧀) After taking a quick work call sat outside Mrs M's building (multitasking at its finest...) I dropped off her meds and food shop. The final task today was taking Mrs M's rubbish out to the chute as I was leaving. I got a really big thank you this week (I think Mrs M felt a bit guilty for asking me to do so many extra bits - but I assured her, this was no problem) and Mrs M sent me on my way with some delicious spring rolls and rice for lunch. Thank you Mrs M, it was a pleasure as always! 😊
