Not for the paint of heart
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the The Store Cupboard in Ealing.
- Tuesday, 16th of February 2021
- Led by Liv Parker-Scott
Today six of us returned to support The Store Cupboard with setting up their new space in Hanwell. Read more about the Store Cupboard here.
Today we had:
- Tracey sanding and painting the dresser - this dresser has gone from a sandy brown to a lovely chalk paint in a complementary blue and orange.
- Francesca buffing up the cabinet - again what was once a chocolate brown colour has been given a new lease of life in a gorgeous blue.
- Aine on the second coat of paint for some shelves - these have been sanded, cleaned up and painted a fresh blue/grey.
- Chris making the kitchen sink look brand new - this victorian style sink is being cleaned up for display.
- Liv and Milly providing a lick of paint - a fresh clean look for these shelves too in a smart neutral colour.
The space is starting to take shape and it’s always lovely to see how a bit of paint can really bring something back to life!
Thanks to the team for looking after us as always! We look forward to returning tomorrow to support again.
