We met with the familiar announcement of "welcome to Goodgym"! This week the news was all about the upcoming events and races in the spring and summer - lots to get involved in as a runner or volunteer with Pride, the Festival of Diversity, Colchester 10k and the Colchester Stampede 10k and we are hopeful to bring Colchester and Chelmsford Goodgym's together for a social parkrun too.
A cool spring evening saw us jogging from Dugard Avenue to Tollgate to give the foodbank a spring clean! The conversation varied from deep and serious to light-hearted and comical as we got on with the task at hand.
As usual we swept and mopped and sanitized the front of shop with swagger and stamina before getting out into the slightly nippy air to run back to base and then cycle home for dinner!
Looking forward to support the Juniors at Parkrun at Old Heath Rec on Sunday and bug thanks to Louise for organising.
Well done all tonight as well as those who did not come (Bob and Jade) we miss you and look forward to seeing you soooooon.
